MENDOTA - Due to mandatory closure of all school buildings in Illinois, performances of “Little Shop of Horrors” scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 20-22 at Mendota High School have been postponed until further notice.
The two-week school closure was announced by Governor JB Pritzker to help protect communities during the growing coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. The closures are for all school buildings, public and private, that serve pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade students.
Choir director Lori Schrock said the possibility of rescheduling the play at a later date will be determined once schools are allowed to reopen and if there are feasible dates that work to make it possible.
