MENDOTA - The Mendota High School Band will host its 62nd Annual Outdoor Summer Concert & Ice Cream Social on Friday, June 26 at Veterans Park, downtown Mendota. Ice cream, cake, and root beer floats will be sold during the event. The MHS band will continue their tradition of an old-fashioned cakewalk featuring the MHS drumline. Raffles include a 50/50 and a chance to conduct the band. Bring your favorite lawn chair or blanket for seating and enjoy an evening of family fun and entertainment with the MHS band. The social begins at 6:15 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7 p.m. In case of rain or excessively hot weather, the concert will be held in the MHS gym.
