Mendota Police investigate rock-throwing incident

MENDOTA – On Sunday, March 28, at approximately 2:34 p.m., Mendota Police investigated an incident of vehicular endangerment in the 100 block of 13th Avenue, Mendota.  As a result of the investigation, authorities learned that a rock was thrown from the overpass (railroad viaduct) striking a vehicle and shattering a window on the vehicle. The rock made entry into the interior passenger compartment of the vehicle. No injuries were sustained and the Mendota Police Department is investigating the matter at this time.
