Mendota had little trouble in defeating Sterling Newman, 4-1, in varsity girls’ tennis action on Sept. 7 at Sterling.
Alexis Finley scored a victory for the Lady Trojans at No. 2 singles, while all three MHS doubles teams were winners. They included the duos of Zoe Finley-Lizzy Bresley, KayLee Barkman-Jackie Cortez and Talya Schwaegerman-Isabelle Escatel.
