PRINCETON - Martin “Buck” E. Vincent, 50, of Princeton, passed away Jan. 30, 2022 at home.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday with Rev. Kevin Hancock officiating. Cremation rites will follow and private family burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Brooklyn at a later date. A celebration of life will be held at the Mendota Moose Lodge following the services.

Martin was born April 21, 1971 in Dixon to Edward and Katherine (Studebaker) Vincent.

Survivors include his parents of Princeton; one brother, Matthew (Gwen) Vincent of Lostant; one sister, Amber (Jason) Cavanaugh of Ottawa; one niece; Annabel Vincent; and three nephews, Amos Vincent, Hunter Owens and Gaige Owens.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and two uncles, Thomas Studebaker and James Vincent.

Martin was a 1989 graduate of LaMoille High School. He worked for Carter Lumber in Mendota, Asplundh Tree Service and Labor Union Local 393. He was a member of the Mendota Moose Lodge, NRA, Malden Veteran’s Club and Arlington Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends.
