LaSalle County real estate taxes due July 1 & Sept. 1

OTTAWA – LaSalle County treasurer James L. Spelich has sent out 66,124 real estate tax bills to county residents.
The first installment of the real estate taxes is due on Thursday, July 1. The second installment is due on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Three convenient payment options are:
Credit card by using MasterCard, Discover, Visa or American Express. Simple instructions are included with the tax bill to pay on the Internet. Credit card payments may also be made in the treasurer’s office (a convenience fee of approximately 2.5% is charged by the credit card processors) or by phone at 1-833-975-2500. If paying by phone, please have your parcel number ready.
Automatic withdrawal from a checking or savings account. To sign up for this service, go online to www.lasallecountytreasurer.com. There is a $1.50 per parcel fee for this service. Taxes will be withdrawn on the day before tax due dates.
Check made payable to LaSalle County Collector at local financial institutions. Also, the treasurer’s office via drive-through drop box in the east parking lot on East Etna Road (24 hours), delivered inside during office hours (patience required, may be long lines) and by mail to the treasurer’s office, 707 E. Etna Road, PO Box 1560, Ottawa, IL 61350. If payment is made in the treasurer’s office, a mask must be worn and a temperature check will be taken.
