AMBOY – Mendota wrestlers participated in the Amboy Junior Varsity Tournament on Jan. 6. The Trojans finished third in the team standings.
Three Mendota grapplers earned second-place finishes. They were Trayvon Rucker at 132 pounds, Rhett Watson at 150 pounds and Reyli Sandoval at 165 pounds.
Fifth-place finishes went to Adrian Arteaga (106), Gavin Stevenson (113) and Cole Kleckner (138), while Madrick Musgrove took seventh place.
