GENOA – The Mendota Lady Trojans took third place out of four teams in a track meet at Genoa-Kingston on April 4. Richmond-Burton ran away with the top spot with 107 points, while Genoa-Kingston was second with 82 points. Mendota scored 48 points and North Boone tallied 20.
Mari Biers was Mendota’s lone individual first-place finisher as she was clocked in 50.45 in the 300-meter low hurdles.
The Lady Trojans also had the top 800-meter relay team in the meet with a time of 2:02.63. Runners for Mendota were Emma Foley, Abby Motter, Kylee Zinke and Lydia Willis.
