MENDOTA - Enedina Correa, 95, of Mendota passed away unexpectedly at OSF Saint Paul Medical Center on July 2, 2021.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, July 8 at the Wasmer Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 9 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Enedina was born July 17, 1925 in Mexico to Guadalupe and Catalina (Arteaga) Hermosillo. She married Catalino Diaz, then Pablo Correa. Both preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Estebon (Virginia) Diaz of California, Juan (Benecar) Diaz of Mendota, Israel Correa of California, and Roque Correa of Las Vegas, Nev.; one daughter, Felicitas (Refugio Castaneda) Correa of Mendota; 33 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herminio Hermosillo and Diomenis Hermosillo, both of Mexico; and four sisters, Juventina Hermosillo, Rufina Hermosillo, Ofelia Hermosillo and Ester Hermosillo, all of Mexico.

She was preceded by her husbands; one son, Guadalupe Correa; one daughter, Anita Correa; two sisters and a brother.

During her work career, Enedina was a seamstress at a garment factory in California.
