Alderman Kyle Kim informed the council that a traffic study was conducted in the 1200 block of Jefferson Street and it was determined that four stop signs will be placed at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The requests are for property located at the southwest corner of the intersection of 12th Street (U.S. 34) and Lori Lane, and if approved, a 12,480-square foot Dollar General will be constructed on the site.

Alderman Jim Fitzpatrick said bid packets are available for the 2022 curb project. The project will involve both sides of Springfield Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Indiana Avenue, and the south side of 16th Street from Augustine Avenue to Lincoln Avenue.
