Cassandra “Jip-C” was born April 18, 1984 in St. Charles to William and Deborah (Downey) Martin, Sr.

Survivors include her parents of Earlville; five siblings and seven nieces and nephews, Clarissa (Amelia) Martin, Chelsea and Stephen (Henry, Asher, and baby) Hall, William Jr. and Amanda (William III, Annabelle, and Edward) Martin, Jeromy Martin, and Catrina Martin.

Cassie was the eldest of six kids and took pride in the role of being the big sister. One of her favorite things was being an aunt, and she always made time for her family. She was a free spirit who had the biggest heart, always put others first, and was good at making new friends on her adventures. She had a passion for art and creating, never taking herself too seriously, she knew how to make everyone smile. She was accepting and genuine making sure everyone she talked to knew they were important. She was always up for a new adventure and any challenges, including working on cars, climbing mountains, cross country travels, motorcycling and chartering unknown territories to start a new homestead. Now she is on the next greatest adventure. Cassie left a mark on our hearts and will never be forgotten.
