OGLESBY – Women At Our B.E.S.T. (Building, Encouraging, Strengthening, Teaching) will host a program titled “Springs of Living Water: Hope For the Days Ahead” on Monday, Oct. 21, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Oglesby Union Church.
The guest speaker will be Jean (Babe) Bufton.
Former Tri-City area resident, Jean Bufton, now of Goshen, Ind., will present her message “Hope For the Days Ahead” taken from her recently published book of the same title. With wit and encouragement, she shares hope with timely truths, personal examples and positive promises from God’s word. Jean’s wealth of experience and keen insight as to the needs of women derive from her many years as director of women’s ministries at The Church at Rocky Peak in Chatsworth, Calif. Jean and her husband Bill also minister to couples and families. After being in the business world, they felt called into this much-needed ministry. They founded Heartline Ministries in 1994.
“Bible Talk” will discuss: How do you start your day? What is your “go to” first thing in the morning?
Georgia Radtke will provide special music.
The prayer room will be open from 6-9 p.m.
Please RSVP by Friday, Oct. 18. You can call Oglesby Union Church at (815) 883-3450, email Women.At.OurBest@gmail.com or respond to their facebook event. There is no fee to attend. Free childcare is available at the church upon request.
