Join Susan Glassman in the kitchen as she discusses modern kitchen appliances for the home kitchen. Have you been thinking about purchasing a spiralizer or an air fryer? How about an electric pressure cooker? Maybe you have one and don’t know how to use it.
Glassman will cover the research and discuss the purpose and functionality of each appliance. Learn the economic and environmental benefits and safe operation of these kitchen appliances. During the program, she will show demonstrate how to make a recipe in an electric pressure cooker (instant pot) for everyone to see. After class, watch for handouts and recipes to appear in your e-mail along with a quick survey.
For more information, please contact Susan Glassman, Extension Educator, Nutrition and Wellness Program. Please register for this free program by Dec. 3 at https://go.illinois.edu/newinthekitchen or by calling (815) 224-0889 for assistance.
