TRIUMPH – The Triumph United Methodist Church will host a week of Vacation Bible School in Triumph from July 22-26. Activities will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. daily.
The theme for this year is “To Mars and Beyond.” Get ready to experience the ride of a lifetime with God. Throughout the flight, children will discover that life with God is an adventure full of wonder and surprise. Music, science, crafts, recreation and Bible stories will help kids know that God is with them as they ride on a flight of grace.
The action-filled week will end with an old-fashioned ice cream social in the church basement for participants, the congregation, family and friends on Sunday, July 28 from 2-4 p.m. Here the VBS students can show off their crafts made during the week.
The Ice Cream Social will feature Schwan’s ice cream, many different toppings, homemade cakes, and beverages.
The Vacation Bible School is open for all children ages 5 and up. For more information or to register, call Ethel Bauer at (815) 246-7242, Pastor Sandy Smith at (815) 246-9381, or Jay Allen at (815) 488-9154.
