MENDOTA – Phalen Steel Construction Company provides help in many ways for Mendota’s Annual Sweet Corn Festival.
They co-sponsored the Jesse White Tumbling Team for a pre-parade performance in front of the Mendota Elks Lodge on Sunday, Aug. 13 and for their parade performance.
Phalen Steel provided the parade reviewing stand, where the parade judges and guests of the Festival view the parade. They also provided the equipment necessary to move the bleachers and picnic tables into place downtown that are used to view the events.
Phalen Steel, as well as other festival sponsors, are examples of the volunteer spirit and cooperation that Mendota has in getting the Annual Sweet Corn Festival ready for a successful weekend of fun for our community and its guests.
