MENDOTA – McDonald’s Restaurants of Mendota will join with other Mendota businesses as a major sponsor of festival events. They will be bringing Mr. Steve’s Comedy Show to the festival on Saturday, Aug. 12 for shows at noon, 2 p.m., and again at 4 p.m.
Mr. Steve, alias Steve Lundquist from Rockford will perform his musical comedy show at the 70th Sweet Corn Festival. His three performances of music, magic, balloons, comedy and audience participation are sure to be a hit with young and old alike.
You will find Mr. Steve performing at the corner of Illinois Ave. and Jefferson St. downtown in the heart of all the festival activities. He is sure to get everyone laughing at his hilarious antics.
McDonald’s invites everyone to stop and have a seat on the bleachers, and enjoy the fun of Mr. Steve’s family friendly show.
