MENDOTA – A Spring Luncheon and Haute Couture Fashion Show, held in Holy Cross School’s gymnsium, was recently attended by 130 area women. The event was hosted by St. Mary’s Altar Society. Several adults and children modeled spring fashions from participating stores including Mendota Sport Shop, Mendota; Christopher and Banks, Peru; Kelley Cawley Boutique, LaSalle; and Four Seasons, Juniper and Mae, and Milk Mustache, Princeton. Door prizes were awarded. Nancy Goble, president of St. Mary’s Altar Society, and Catherine Wasmer were co-emcees for the event. Decorations were designed by Jerry Prokuski of Jerry’s Flower Barn and Shirley Prescott.
