Seniors dominate at tug-of-war as Mendota High School kicks off homecoming week with an assembly, Sept. 25. Students competed in games and relays to win bragging rights for their class. The assembly concluded with Ben Bokus and Brandy Delao named 2017 Homecoming King and Queen. Dress-up themes for the week include: Class Color Day, Denim Day, Superhero Day, and Decades. The week will end with a Purple and Gold Spirit Day, a pep rally assembly, a parade downtown, and sophomore and varsity football games on Friday night. The homecoming dance will be held at MHS on Saturday. (Reporter photo by Jennifer Sommer)
