The West African Drum and Dance Show entertained students at Blackstone School on March 18. The performers from Senegal, West Africa shared their culture and traditions with the kindergarten and first graders. The assembly included traditional songs played on Djembe and Dunun drums and African Kora harp. Students participated in learning native words, songs and dances. (Reporter photo by Jennifer Sommer)
