MENDOTA – The goal of the Mendota Optimist Club is to support the youth of our community. The Optimist Club has recently partnered with Mendota Golf Club by donating four sets of junior golf clubs to the golf course. The clubs were donated to let the youth use them when they are at MGC and return them after they are done. Children are welcome to use the clubs for free. There are sets for children 5-8 years old, 8-11 years old, 11-14 years old and for older teenagers. Both the Optimist Club and Mendota Golf Club are hoping that this helps to promote the game of golf to youngsters. MGC appreciates the Optimist Club for its generous donation.
