Boyd is a retired choir director from Lyons-Township High School, adjunct music education professor from Northwestern University, former Chicago Lyric Opera Chorus performer, served ILMEA as Chorus Division president for 6 years, and is a very sought-after clinician. He is also a published composer and arranger of choral music. Boyd worked with the singers on songs they will be performing at their concert, May 11. “It is my honor to know him as a colleague and friend,” noted Lori Schrock, MHS choir director.
