LaMoille FFA competes at livestock judging contest

Members of the the LaMoille-Ohio FFA recently competed in the Geneseo Livestock Judging Contest held at the Black East campus. The LaMoille team place 6th out of 58 teams in the Senior division. Clay Sunberg place 4th in the Senior division with a score of 421. CUMC plans turkey supper

The committee for the turkey supper of Community United Methodist Church, LaMoille, meets to plan their annual event. The dinner, Thursday, March 8 from 5-7 p.m., will consist of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, their famous salad bar, pie and drinks. Tickets are available from church members or at the door. Tickets purchased prior to March 5 will be $9 for adults and $5.50 for children 10 and under. Tickets purchased after March 5 will be $9.50 and $6 respectively. For carry-outs or tickets, call (815) 638-2348 after 4 p.m. or email lamoillecumc@gmail.com.

Fish fry, Feb. 16

LAMOILLE – The Community United Methodist Church Mission Team will host a fish fry on Feb. 16 at the LaMoille Lions Club, 308 Howard St. in LaMoille.

The all-you-can-eat fish fry dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children age 10 and under. For carryouts, call (815) 538-2656.

Live entertainment will feature Dylan Benavidez and the Swed family.
