MALTA – Kishwaukee College will be hosting a Visit Day on Monday, Feb. 19 for prospective students and their families. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. in the Kishwaukee College Conference Center. Visit Day will run from 8 a.m. to noon. Graciela Horta, student outreach coordinator at Kish, said, “The best way to decide on which college to attend is to visit campus. Come to Visit Day, tour campus, talk with our students, and attend a session or two. I think you will find that Kish has everything you are looking for in programs, curriculum and in cost, too!”
Visit Day will feature a conference-style schedule that allows participants to choose which sessions will most benefit them. Each timeslot has several different session options offering visitors the opportunity to customize their morning and make the most of their visit. To have the fullest range of session options, students and their parents are encouraged to arrive by 8 a.m.
Session topics being offered during the Visit Day include: Career Technologies Programs, TRiO Student Support Services, WIOA Youth Program, Paying for College, College 101, Supporting Your Student (parent session), Student Activities, Athletics, Foundation Scholarships, and the Honors Program.
Visit Day will also include a tour of the academic divisions as well as an optional campus tour and an information fair. Students can register for Visit Day at www.kish.edu/visitday.
