Ashlyn Kennedy and Michael Uhen were united in marriage on Aug. 11 at St. Mary’s Church in Kenosha, Wis. The ceremony was officiated by Father Joe Uhen and Father Tim Uhen.
Parents of the bride are Tim and Kim Kennedy of Mendota. Parents of the groom are Dan and Mary Ann Uhen of Wheaton.
Maid of Honor was Amanda Grove. Bridesmaids were Delaney Leber, Morgan Bick, Lainie Schweickert, Becky Dowell, Maggie Uhen, Becky Cronk, and Marissa Vavra.
Best Man was Steve Uhen. Groomsmen were Ben Gesell, Austen Black, Chad Westenberg, Carson Combs, Charlie Sullivan, Joseph Pechauer, and Paxton Kennedy Ushers were Joey Shilati, Tony Shilati, and Peter Sullivan.
The flower girl was Grey Uhen and ring bearers were Gavin Stamberger and Grant Shauman.
A reception was held at The Club at Strawberry Creek in Kenosha, Wisa. The couple took a one-week honeymoon to Antigua.
The bride is a fifth grade teacher at Vernon Elementary School in Kenosha, Wis.
The groom is an accountant at SkipperBud’s in Winthrop Harbor.
