MENDOTA – Page Holland and Jacob Leonard were united in marriage during a 1 p.m. ceremony on Aug. 5, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mendota.
Deacon Vince Slomian officiated.
Parents of the bride are Todd and Nancy Holland of Mendota. Parents of the groom are Lambert and Karen Holland of Mendota.
The bride’s grandparents are Gary and Judy Holland and the late Irvin and Shirley McDougall. The groom’s grandparents are Richard and Ida Bergmark, Jim Leonard and the late Mary Jo Leonard and the late Sandy Leonard.
Matron of Honor was Lauren Barkman, friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Sophia Holland, Alison Roskoph, Jessica McDougall, Farrell Holland, Linnea Leonard, and Gina Szendel.
Best Man was Michael Derer, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Joseph Buchanan, Patrick Doughty, Andrew Leonard, Marshall Holland, Joel McDonald, and Jason Woodyatt. Ushers were Patrick Cassidy, Matt Sondgeroth, Ron Bolech, and Patrick Fisher.
Flower girls were Madelyn Holland and Bailee Richey; Ring Bearers were Colin Leonard and Johnnie Dilg.
A reception was held at Holland and Sons, John Deere Store in Mendota.
The couple went on a 13-day British Isles cruise for their honeymoon.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Mendota High School. She graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla. with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2014 and from Western Illinois University in Macomb with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. She is employed at Sinnissippi Health Center in Rochelle.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of Mendota High School. He attended Illinois Valley Community College and graduated from Kishwaukee Community College in 2012 with an Associates in Diesel Power Tech and from Southern Illinois University in 2014 with a degree in Technical Resource Management. He is the owner of Schmidt’s Sales and Service in Troy Grove and farms with Leonard Farms.
