OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Genealogy Guild will celebrate the 200th birthday of the state of Illinois with a potluck dinner at the guild library on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 12 p.m.
Illinois became a state on Dec. 3, 1818.
Please bring a dish to pass and your own table service. Chicken, drinks and dessert will be provided. There will not be a speaker, just come and enjoy dinner. Everyone is welcome. The guild library is located at 115 W. Glover St. in Ottawa.
There will not be a meeting in December.
