FRANKLIN GROVE - Franklin Creek Conservation Association has scheduled a soil health presentation to be given by Jim Isermann, field manager for Soil Health Partnership. The event will take place on Sunday, Aug. 16 from 5-7 p.m. Isermann will show how successful farmers are working to improve soil health and environmental outcomes while maintaining profitability and reducing inputs.
Registration is free but is required to attend. To register, call the Grist Mill at (815) 456-2718.
The presentation will meet at Sunday’s Shelter, which is located in Franklin Creek State Natural Area. Due to COVID-19, masks will be required at the presentation when physical distance cannot be maintained.
