MENDOTA – On Sunday May 21, Bishop Wade Hudson of Chicago, will be speaking at the 10:30 a.m. service at First United Methodist Church in Mendota.
Bishop Hudson is a seasoned pastor with an international ministry. His ministry emphasis is mentoring troubled youth, assisting homeless veterans, and feeding the hungry. Pastor Hudson also has a ministry that places an emphasis on reaching across racial lines in an effort to find common ground and mutual understanding.
First United Methodist Church of Mendota is located at 100 East 6th Street on the corner of 6th Street and 1st Avenue. Immediately following the worship service there will be a potluck in the fellowship hall followed by a return to the sanctuary to begin the dialogue at approximately 12:30 p.m. The program will be completed at 1:30 p.m.
