MENDOTA – The Graves-Hume Library’s Children’s Department will be hosting the following events during the month of October:
An “Iron Chef” cooking competition will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 3:30-5 p.m. for students in grades 5-8 Sign up is required.
An evening session of “Shake, Rattle & Read” will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2 from 6-7 p.m. Morning sessions are set for Tuesday, Nov. 14 and 28 from 10-11 a.m. This program is for babies and toddlers, ages birth-2 to enjoy with their caregivers. Pre-K siblings are also welcome. Come for stories, dancing, playtime and much more! No sign up is necessary.
“Lego Club” for children in grades 1-4 will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 3:30-4:30. The library supplies the Legos; you bring your imagination. Sign up is required for this popular program.
“Small Fries” will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. This brand-new program is for children ages 3-kindergarten and includes a story and cooking! Sign up is necessary.
An After School Movie will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. School is out early, so plan on spending the afternoon with a movie and popcorn! Please sign up. Children age 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
