LA SALLE COUNTY - If you live in Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, or Putnam counties, please join University of Illinois Extension for a Zoom meeting to learn what 4-H is all about. The meeting will take place on Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. To participate and receive the Zoom link, contact Beth Dellatori, 4-H Youth Development Educator, by Oct. 20 at beth@illinois.edu or call (815) 224-0891.
Extension is looking for new volunteers who have a variety of talents to help with traditional 4-H Clubs, as well as SPIN Clubs, workshops, project judges, superintendents, guest Sspeakers, and much more. All talents, interests, and hobbies are welcome - yours may be exactly what is needed. Please attend to learn more about joining the team.
The Extension 4-H Youth Development Program offers a variety of opportunities in the areas of energy, natural resources, environmental relationships, foods, economics, college and career readiness, health, STEM, community involvement, and leadership for youth ages 5-18. Their programs provide hands-on, fun experiences where youth can imagine and build things, create art, do crafts, explore careers, make new friends, help others, and develop leadership skills. Adult volunteers teach and inspire kids in ways that last a lifetime.
If you need a reasonable accommodation, please contact the Extension office at (815) 224-0889.
