LA SALLE - Learn how to have a garden even in tiny spaces when the LaSalle Public Library virtually hosts Natalie Martin, University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener, on Tuesday, March 16 at 6 p.m.

In Martin’s informative program, “Growing Food…No Matter the Garden Size!” she will discuss different strategies and plant varieties that can work for any yard, no matter if it’s big or small. From patios to acreage, she will go over equipment, containers and plant varieties. Factors such as light, water and nutrients affect plant growth, and Martin will discuss all of them in this educational presentation.

This program is free and open to the public and will be presented via Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. To register online, go to https://bit.ly/3qkCsXu. Anyone who prefers to connect to the program using an iPad or smartphone, needs more information, or has questions, please contact Rachael Blomquist, Digital Content Librarian, at rblomquist@lasalle.lib.il.us or call the Library at (815) 223-2341.
