LA SALLE - Stage 212 is still planning to put on their summer 2020 production of the Cole Porter classic “Kiss Me, Kate!” Performances are scheduled to begin on July 23 and play through Aug. 2. Stage 212 will maintain all COVID-19 health and safety guidelines as this production and the rest of the 2020 season progresses.
Accordingly, auditions for “Kiss Me, Kate!” will be conducted via video submission only. A self-recorded video with audio will be required along with a completed audition form by Sunday, May 10. Callbacks will be scheduled via video conference.
Director Reid Tomasson will cast 20 men and women in a variety of lead, supporting and ensemble roles. Auditioners should visit Stage212.org/auditions for details on required audition materials. No preparation is necessary and familiarity with the script is not required to audition. Any questions about the audition process should be e-mailed to stage212web@gmail.com.
Stage 212 auditions are open to all regardless of prior theatrical experience.
