MENDOTA - A summer kids’ event called “Faith Race VBS” will be hosted at the United Pentecostal Church of Mendota from Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 13. At Faith Race, kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, and participate in other fun activities.
On Friday and Saturday, VBS will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. On Sunday at 10 a.m., the Faith Race Finale with awards, a kids’ service, and a free lunch will be held.
Faith Race Vacation Bible School is for kids from grades kindergarten through eighth. For transportation, phone (815) 539-6861 and leave a message, or (815) 994-8414. United Pentecostal Church is located at 4401 State Route 251, one-half mile north of Mendota.
