MENDOTA - The Mendota Tri County Fair takes place over Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 1-4. Prior to the opening on Wednesday, Aug. 30, Floral Hall entries will be brought to fair for judging from 5-7 p.m. Judging of entries will be done at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31. Please note, the building will be closed while judging takes place.
On Thursday evening from 6-10 p.m., a Carnival “Sneak Peak” will again be held. During that time a special price of four rides for $5 will be in effect (offer is unlimited).
Additional armband times at the carnival will be Friday 6-10 p.m., Saturday 1-5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.
On Friday, Sept. 1, the fair officially opens at 3 p.m. There is no cost for parking or admission.
The carnival will be open from 4-11 p.m. on Friday and the evening’s entertainment in the grandstand will be the return of the “Ladies” Pageant starting at 7:30 p.m.
