LA SALLE - Lisa Sons, Master Naturalist and IDNR Park Interpreter, will be virtually hosted by the LaSalle Public Library for her presentation, “The Magical Migrating Monarch” on Tuesday, May 11 at 6 p.m.
In this informative and educational program, Sons will take the virtual audience on a journey of discovery about the Monarch butterfly, the only North American butterfly that migrates every spring and fall. During the presentation, she will discuss the life cycle, habitat and migration of this fascinating creature that is also the state insect of Illinois.
The program is free and open to the public but does require registration. Once registered, a confirmation e-mail with connection information for joining the program will be sent to participants.
