MENDOTA – The Mendota Museum & Historical Society will host The Big Uproar at the Country Chapel, behind the Breaking the Prairie Museum, on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. The local band will perform a collection of special music for the evening. After the concert, attendees are invited to the Golden Trencher Dining Car at the Depot Museum for dessert. Tickets are limited and on sale now for $10.
Committee members, Karyn Bock, Janis Shirey, and Linda Eckard have been busy planning the event as a way of informing the community of rental spaces available through the MMHS.
