SUBLETTE - The Sublette Business Association recently held its regular quarterly meeting. There was a small, but enthusiastic group in attendance. Plans were discussed for the coming year. Early in the year the message board sign will be moved to a new location near the Sublette Farmers Elevator.
The group also discussed ways to welcome the campers back to the area for the camping season. Also, a village wide garage sale weekend was planned.
It was noted that there are nearly 50 members in the association.
Village-wide garage sales
The weekend of June 11-13 has been designated as village-wide garage sale days. The committee is urging residents to start cleaning out closets, attics and garages to prepare for the event. The Business Association is going to create a map to share with the public.
Anyone planning a sale is urged to contact Annette Bonnell at (815) 202-644, Laura Jackson at (815) 209-3342 or Katie Leffelman at (815) 303-1697 to be listed on the map. Deadline for registration for the map is May 31.
