Survivors include her loving husband and best friend, John of DePue; two sons, Jacob (Michelle) Aden of LaSalle and Jonathan (Samantha) Aden of Bloomington; one daughter, Stephanie (Adam) Combites of Beaufort, S.C.; one brother, C.J. Manahan of Magnolia; two sisters, April (John) Yucus of Ladd and Amanda (Brian) Moisant of LaSalle; a grandson, Atticus Combites; one aunt, Nancy Stasik; her dogs, Pickles, Simon, Rosie, Minnie and Izzy; several nieces and nephews; and many “adopted” children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna.
Stacy May was the happiest when she was taking care of her family as a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to make large meals for the family to gather around. Her years of running a restaurant and bar paid off when she got to proudly pass down her mixology creations and secrets. She loved taking road trips with her husband to find pawn shops and antique stores adding along to her glassware and cookie jar collections. Some of her favorite road trips led her to beaches and warmer weather. On an afternoon when she wasn’t working, you could probably find her just driving her car listening to the country radio station. She was a 1990 graduate of Tonica High School and received an Associate degree in Applied Science from Illinois Valley Community College. She was a member of the LaMoille Lions Club.
