STILLMAN VALLEY – Mendota wrestlers competed in the Stillman Valley Invitational on Dec. 16.
In varsity action, the Trojans’ Angil Serrano earned second-place honors in the 285-pound weight class. At 157 pounds, Corbin Furar placed sixth.
In the junior varsity tournament, four Mendota wrestlers placed in the top four. Taking third place were Adrian Arteaga at 106 pounds, Cole Kleckner at 138 pounds and Madrick Musgrove at 215 pounds. Gavin Stevenson finished fourth at 113 pounds.
