LA SALLE - State Senator Sue Rezin released the following statement regarding a positive COVID-19 case at the LaSalle Veterans Home.

“Over the weekend, the Governor’s administration informed me that the LaSalle Veterans home had a resident test positive for COVID-19. The Illinois Department of Public Health and the Veterans Home moved quickly to test every resident and staff member at the facility.

The initial test results have so far come back negative for every resident and staff member, except for the original resident who tested positive. We are still working closely with the Governor’s administration to ensure that the residents of the veterans home continue to receive the best possible care that they undoubtedly deserve.”
