MENDOTA - The American Red Cross held a blood drive at the Mendota Moose Family Center on Sept. 22. The drive was attended by 69 presenting donors and 64 good units were collected. This included 58 whole blood donations and eight double red cell donations.

“We had a great turnout, especially considering these uncertain times,” stated volunteer Lori Simonton. “Your time and donation are greatly appreciated.”

Volunteers for the day included Sandy Schroeder, Peg Mathesius-Cerveny, Margy Frey, Kristi Carroll and Lori Simonton. Mendota Subway again donated sandwiches for the donor luncheon. Black Bros. also donated sandwiches and chips to the drive.
