MENDOTA – The Re-Imagine Mendota Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16 from 5:30-10 p.m. in the 700 block of Illinois Avenue in downtown Mendota.
The festival will begin with the serving of food at 5:30 p.m. The menu will include brats, pork chop sandwiches and chips. Beverages will include beer, wine, seltzer, soda and water.
The band “Free Beer and Chicken” will play from 6-10 p.m.
Other highlights of the evening will include raffles, a 50/50 drawing and fun.
The event is being held to show off how beautiful Illinois Avenue looks after its makeover and to raise funds for the group’s next event in December. Funds will also be raised for the purchase of street signs for Illinois Avenue.
