PRINCETON - The Prairie Arts Council will present the play “Passengers” written by Sam Bobrick and directed by Joseph Ennenbach. Performances will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5-7. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee begins at 2 p.m.

Four veteran actors, Mary Kieffer, Ken Schroeder, Karlyn Swords and Gary Talsky, will bring to life a total of 18 characters in eight short scenes set in a small Midwestern bus station. Each scene transitions seamlessly into the next and varies from comedic to poignant.

“Passengers” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.

Tickets ($15 for adults and $10 for students) may be purchased online at prairiearts.org, by emailing prairieartsprinceton@gmail.com or by leaving a message at (815) 875-2787.

The show has an all-star cast behind the scenes. Director Ennenbach has been assisted by Dixie Schroeder as production manager, Ron McCutchan as costumer and Jill Marti as set decorator.

The Prairie Arts Center programming is funded in part by grants from the Illinois Arts Council and The Princeton Closet.
