PRINCETON - The Prairie Arts Council will hold auditions for an October production of “Passengers” at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25, at the Prairie Arts Center theater, 24 Park Ave. East in Princeton. Anyone wishing to audition who is unable to attend on those days should contact director Joe Ennenbach at (815) 488-0633 to set up an alternate time.

Written by Sam Bobrick, “Passengers” will be presented Oct. 15-17. The cast of four actors, a man and woman in their mid to late 20s and a man and woman in their mid to late 40s, will portray a total of 17 characters in this collection of eight short plays set in a small Midwestern bus station. Each scene transitions seamlessly into the next and varies from comedic to poignant with everything tied together in the last scene.

For questions about auditions or to see a copy of the script, contact Ennenbach at (815) 488-0633.

People with an interest in theater, with or without previous experience, are encouraged to become involved in the show. Volunteers are always needed both on and off stage. Prairie Arts Council programming is funded in part by grants from the Illinois Arts Council and the Princeton Closet. “Passengers” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
