ROCKFORD - Pamala Herdklotz, 77, of Rockford, formerly of Triumph, passed away Dec. 3, 2021 with her husband at her bedside.

A Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11 at St. James Catholic Church in Rockford. Friends may visit on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Pamala was born Dec. 25, 1943 in LaHarpe to Raymond and Eula Dee (Bell) Iseminger. She married Thomas Herdklotz.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years; one son, Brent Herdklotz; one daughter, Kristin (Raymond) Torres; and two grandchildren, Hailey Torres and Anthony Torres, whom she loved with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pamala grew up in Triumph and attended Mendota High School, graduating in 1962 as the valedictorian. She moved to Rockford and became a registered nurse at Swedish American Hospital graduating in 1965. She worked at Swedish American Hospital for 10 years as head nurse of surgery before she worked her dream job for 35 years at Lundholm Surgical Group as a private scrub nurse in surgery. She loved her work and all the people with whom she worked.
