MENDOTA – The OSF Foundation is pleased to announce that OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center in Mendota is the recipient of a generous gift from a local business donor, who wishes to remain anonymous.

The $75,000 gift will help OSF Saint Paul support efforts with the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time of uncertainty, OSF Saint Paul Mission Partners have worked tirelessly on the front lines, ensuring that the health and wellness needs of the community are met.

“As we all struggle to fully grasp the impact COVID-19 will have on Mendota and the surrounding communities, this generous gift will support our health care workers, patients and our communities as they fight against the spread of the virus,” said Dawn Trompeter, President, OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center. “This gift will enable our digital health response to serve community members where and when they need it, and it means crisis support for those working each day to combat the virus. We are humbled and blessed to have such caring businesses and donors who support and trust OSF HealthCare to serve the health and wellbeing of our patients and communities.”

OSF Saint Paul Medical Center is a non-profit hospital, and gifts such as this are vitally important for the health and wellbeing of those served and the community as a whole.
