Opening day at MHS

Posted

MENDOTA – Mendota High School students walked through the school doors for the 2020-21 school year on Sept. 8. It is the first in-person learning day at MHS since all schools in Illinois were shut down on March 17 after the initial outbreak of COVID-19. Students and personnel are required to undergo a daily symptom screening before utilizing school district transportation or entering any school district building. All individuals in school buildings must wear face coverings at all times. MHS has also developed procedures to ensure enhanced physical distance from other persons as much as possible and will utilize sanitation procedures per recommendations of the CDC, IDPH and local health departments.
