DEKALB – The NIU Philharmonic season opening concert will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. at Boutell Memorial Concert Hall at Northern Illinois University. Music director is Danko Drusko.
The program includes: Vaughan Williams–Five Variants of Dives and Lazarus (Solo Harp & Strings), Schubert–Symphony No. 5, and Tchaikovsky–Italian Capriccio.
Tickets are available for $5 for adults and $3 for students at niu.edu/music or at the door.
