The Paw Paw Garden Club is taking orders for flats and hanging baskets.

Annual flats are $17 with 48 plants in a flat. Among the flowers available will be petunias, marigolds, snapdragons and more.

Ten-inch hanging baskets will be offered for $20, with million bells, petunias, impatiens and more.

Order blanks are available at the Paw Paw Library, or by calling Michelle Fay at 815-258-7324 or 815-627-2041.

Orders must be received by Saturday, March 26 and can be picked up on May 14 at the annual Spring Fling Plant Sale.

There will be vendors at the Spring Fling, inside and out, 8 a.m.-noon, at the Paw Paw Community Building.

Paw Paw Public Library District will be hosting author Jenny Lawson. The event will be held virtually on Wednesday, March 30 at 7 p.m.

The Award-winning humorist will discuss her most recent memoir, “Broken (in the best possible way).”

Her previous books, “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened,” and “Furiously Happy,” were New York Times bestsellers.

Joining her will be R. Eric Thomas, a national best-selling author, playwright and screenwriter.

This event is presented in partnership with Illinois Libraries Present, through a grant by the Illinois State Library, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
