MENDOTA - Minnie Belle Tolley, 86, passed away Jan. 14, 2022 at Heritage Health Mendota.

Visitation will be from 4-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at Zion United Methodist Church, Mendota with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:30 p.m. Rev. Jeff Brace will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Wasmer Funeral Home is privileged to assist the family.

Minnie was born Feb. 2, 1935 in Cunard, W.V. to Russell and Ethel (Cox) Ingles. She married the love of her life, Herschel Tolley on Nov. 18, 1951 in Oak Hill, W.V.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Herschel of Sublette; one son, David Tolley of LaSalle; one daughter, Kathy (Chris) Van Horn of Harvard; a daughter-in-law, Gail Tolley of Utica; five grandchildren, Jason (Corey) Foster of Tennessee, Sarah (Peter) Shanks of Belvidere, Nathan (Vicki) Tolley of Mendota, Bethany (Kurt) Kraeplin of California and Dan Turczyn of Utica; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marlee (Robert) Hebel of Manning, S.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harry Ingles and Russell Lee Ingles; a sister in infancy, Janice; and three great-grandchildren, Baby Shanks, Avery Shanks and Tyson Shanks.

During her work career, Minnie was a drafter for Black Brothers Company. She was an active member of Zion United Methodist Church. She owned TM Ceramics Shop where she poured, cleaned, painted and sold pieces, along with teaching classes. She bowled on a mixed and ladies league, loved her grandbabies, shopping, roses and enjoying her home with Herschel.
